DSA 2016 Gowind Frigate LCS Update with Boustead, DCNS & Chief of Malaysian Navy

At the DSA 2016 tri-service defence exhibition currently held in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) Navy Recognition had the chance to get the latest update on the Gowind frigate Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) as part of the Second Generation Patrol Vessel (SGPV) program. Anuar Murad, Director of the Defence & Security Division at Boustead Heavy Industries Corporation Berhad (BHIC) tells us about the status of the program , the cooperation with DCNS and the capabilities of the frigate. Philippe Darche, surface warship business development manager at DCNS, discusses the cooperation between Boustead and DCNS. Last but certainly not least, we had the chance to get opinion of Admiral Kamarulzaman, the Chief of the Royal Malaysian Navy, on the program.
