BTS member Jimin makes global chart history with his debut album

South-Korean musical artist Jimin from one of the most successful boy-groups to ever exist, BTS, has made history with his solo-debut album ‘FACE’. This week, the title track ‘Like Crazy’ debuted at Number 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100, making Jimin the First South Korean soloist to ever top that chart, and the 3rd Asian act overall after his group BTS and Japanese soloist Kyu Sakamoto in 1963. His achievements fight back again xenophobia in the western music industry and promises to draw more attention to the talent of Asian artists globally.
