Find the Area of a Regular Hexagon

In this video, we use the properties of symmetry and congruence of a regular hexagon to find its area given its perimeter. The hexagon can be decomposed into 6 equilateral triangles and therefore the area of one of these triangles is found and then multiplied by 6 to find the total area of the hexagon.
