Keyword Research: Finding Keyword Clusters for Niche Website - Pet Niche Example

I will start with a completely new niche and walk you through the research that I would perform if I had a niche website in the pet niche. I like to find keywords that are closely related and find a parent category that connect them all together. I will start off in the pet niche, narrow down to fish tanks and then find a cluster which will connect multiple keywords together. This strategy allows me to gain authority in a particular query and create a complete picture of the topic which helps me to build internal links to these articles in the cluster.
