Have fun making simple pentatonic melodies on the descant recorder. E Minor Pentatonic scale G Major Pentatonic scale Good for technique - intonation, fingering, expression, breath control etc, even if you are not interested in composition/impro/playing by ear. Playing against a drone helps with tuning and sounds good too! Useful and fun, whatever your musical goals.
