Highlight Max and Min Values on Column Chart

Highlight max and min values on a column chart to remove confusion in identifying the top and bottom values. This video tutorial shows how to apply conditional formatting to a chart by highlighting the max and min columns. First a column of values is generated using a formula to identify the max and min values, or return and error. This column is then added as a second data series to the column chart. The series are then overlapped giving the appearance of highlighted columns.
