Welcome to the crochet tutorial with CozyRosyUK. Today I'm showing you how to do the bobble stitch
0:15
So what I've done is I've made a foundation chain of 12 and then from the second chain from hook
0:21
I've double crocheted all the way back along my chain so it gives me a
0:27
total of 11 double crochets to work into, just as a sample to kind of practice a little bit
0:33
I'm going to chain one to allow me to turn my work. Now I'm just going to start by placing
0:39
a double crochet in the same stitch that I've just done that chain one
0:46
And then to begin the first bubble stitch, I'm going to yarn over and insert the hook
0:52
just as I would for a treble crochet or a double crochet in the US
0:56
I'm going to yarn over and that gives me three loops on my hook. I'm going to yarn over and just pull through those first two loops
1:04
I'm going to do that for a total of five times all into the same stitch
1:09
So that's number one and we've got two loops on our hook. We're going to yarn over and insert the hook once again into that same stitch
1:17
Yarn over draw up a loop I just going to pull back through by yarning over and pull through those first two loops on the hook So that two
1:29
Yarn over, insert the hook, draw up another loop, yarn over and pull through those first two loops
1:37
That's number three. We're going to do number four, exactly the same
1:44
Just pull through those first two loops after you've yarned over. and then number five, yarn over to draw that loop up, yarn over, pull through just those first two
1:58
loops and then we're going to yarn over and pull through all of these six loops on our hook
2:03
and that will create our bobble. So again just pull down gently to give yourself space to come
2:09
through, pull back on that yarn to tighten that all up together and then into the next stitch we're
2:14
going to work a double crochet and that will secure that stitch. So the next stitch we're going
2:21
to work in another bobble stitch. So we start by yarning over and inserting the hook, yarn over to
2:29
bring up a loop and we're just going to yarn over and pull through those first two loops on our hook
2:35
We're going to yarn over again and we're going to do this for a total of six, sorry, a total of five
2:40
times to give us six loops on our hook So insert the hook bring the loop up yarn over and pull through those first two loops yarn over insert the hook yarn over to bring up that loop yarn over pull through those first two
2:57
loops and again, just through those first two loops, one, two, three, four, five, so a final time
3:09
yarn over, pull through the first two loops, pop that one back on, rearrange those. So we've got one
3:19
two, three, four, five, six. We're going to yarn over and pull through all six loops. Pull down
3:25
gently and it'll just give you space for your hook to pull through. Pull back just to tighten
3:30
in that and then double crochet into that next stitch along. There we go. So you can see those
3:40
bobbles are forming. So I'm going to work all the way along this row here, just to, and then we'll
3:45
have a look to see what that looks like. Thank you
4:36
and work my final bobble stitch here. I'm just going to work my final bobble stitch into this stitch here
4:59
And in my final stitch here, I'm going to do a double crochet just to end this row
5:19
There we go. Let's have a little look at these bubbles, shall we? Wow
5:25
They're some big bubbles. And that's how you do the bubble stitch
