Hi guys, Bobbi here and I'm back to show you how to crochet this really cute

Christmas tree ornament pattern. So this ornament is five inches tall and for

this pattern I used a yarn called Mira. I actually found this yarn on Amazon and

it came in a set of 12 with different colors. Its yarn weight is number three

which will be perfect for making ornaments and on the back of the yarn

you can see that a 4.5 crochet hook will work out great and that's exactly what

I'm going to use. So here's my crochet hook and as you can see it is a 4.5 millimeter and that

converts to a 7 US crochet hook. So if you don't have a 4.5 a 4 millimeter would work too. I will

also be using a yarn needle, some yarn scissors, some polyester poly fill stuffing, small buttons

I'm going to be using some different colors of thread to sew on my buttons but if you only have

one color like a white then that should work too. And lastly I will be using a thread needle to sew

on the buttons. Okay so before we get started go and grab the written pattern for this tree ornament

off we're going to go ahead and make a slip knot and then we're going to chain

three so there's one two and three okay for row one we're going to place a single

crochet into the second chain from our hook so there's our first single crochet

now we're going to place one more single crochet in the very last chain

Okay, so after you crochet the second side of the tree, go ahead and put both of the trees together

And now we're going to single crochet around these two pieces together

To do this, go ahead and make a slip knot. Insert your hook into the left side of the tree

Make sure to insert it into the first tree and into the second tree

Grab your slip knot and pull the slip knot through both of the trees

Now you're going to single crochet around this tree, and as you're doing it

make sure to tuck your tail ends into the middle of the trees so that way you don't have to go back

and weave those in later. Now, it doesn't matter how many single crochets

you get around the tree. Our main goal is just to get these two sides

So just make sure you're inserting your hook into both front and back trees

up the stuffing. And now we're just going to finish by single crocheting the bottom of the two

trees together. Now go ahead and grab your yarn needle and let's weave in that last loose yarn end

And I'm going to weave mine in by just working around a couple of crochet stitches and then

I'll just cut it off when I'm done. So now we just need to make something in order to hang this tree ornament up

So what we're going to do is we're going to start with a slipknot

So go ahead and insert this slip knot into the very top of the tree. And we're going to slip stitch it into the top of the tree
