BREAKING: Adam Schiff Robbed - Left With No Clothes

Hey ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America and California's

ever-growing crime problem? Well it's just made a victim out of Adam Schiff

Now apparently the congressman left stuff in his car when he went to an event in California

last night and well the burgeoning crime problem in that area really reared its ugly head

And I mean ugly head, as Schiff had to go to an event, a black tie event in regular

casual clothes because his car was broken into and his clothing and his luggage were

stolen from the car. Now think about that, he had to be warned to not leave stuff in his car

This is a sitting congressman, a man who was campaigning to be a senator and he had to

be told that he couldn't leave stuff in his car and then he did and he got robbed

Well gosh it's like those progressive policies almost come back to bite you Adam, don't they

Maybe, just hear me out on this, maybe a tougher crime approach would actually be beneficial

Maybe if we didn't coddle criminals and instead actually punish them, that might actually

do something to, I don't know, curb the crime. Now Fox and Friends reported on this this morning and I want you to take a look at it

crime crisis. Thieves reportedly stealing luggage from his car sitting in a parking garage which then

left him in a bind ahead of a formal event. Madeline Rivera has the story on this, hey Maddie

Hey good morning guys. Apparently Congressman Adam Schiff was on his way to a campaign dinner this coming from

the San Francisco Chronicle but without his luggage and a change of clothes he had no

choice but to attend the event in shirt sleeves and a hiking vest

Not quite how he wanted to show up in a room filled with people wearing suits I'm sure

Schiff though didn't seem bothered at all. He reportedly acknowledged, yes they took my bags but I'm here to thank Joe, referring

to attorney Joe Kochett who's supporting his Senate bid. In fact Kochett reportedly praised Schiff's reaction to the whole thing saying Adam really

showed himself tonight. He'll be a great senator. He's going to change the Senate tremendously

The San Francisco Chronicle reports Schiff had been warned not to leave anything in the car but he was in a hurry and didn't want to be late

There's so much to this. Number one he wants to be the next senator, he's a congressman. They don't want to admit there's a crime problem

They keep talking about crime goes south. This is another example of a lawmaker being a victim of a crime while denying there's

a crime problem and they break into his car. I'm pretty sure in the Bay Area, might have been Oakland, former Senator Barbara Boxer

got mugged in broad daylight. It was a year or two ago. It just keeps going

Look at Nancy Pelosi. Look at Nancy Pelosi's husband. And the LA mayor as well

The question is how much money was in the luggage because it was if it was less than a thousand dollars

Oh that's right. Show up to the Senate. That's right. If it was Bob Menendez it would be gold bars

That's exactly right. It would be a real problem. Although he's denying that

And I think he gets a delay of his trial. Do you see that? And he's still sitting there in the Senate

But I mean just by the way, I think it's still very close with Steve Garvey

Everyone thinks he's won already, but Steve Garvey's making a run at him as an exception

California can make some big changes if the Republicans show up in the race
