Rubio voicing Gaza humanitarian concerns marks ‘significant moment’ in Israel’s isolation

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Thursday said the US was “troubled” by the humanitarian situation in Gaza. "The fact that Rubio made a phone call, on President Donald Trump’s behalf, to inform Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu – who is denying any humanitarian crisis in Gaza – of US concerns, is a significant moment in the growing isolation of Israel on the international stage,” says FRANCE 24’s Noga Tarnopolsky, reporting from Jerusalem.
