Have you ever struggled with adding pictures to Word documents
0:04
Well, I'm going to show you a trick that will make this a lot easier
0:08
Here is a document that I have and I have a graph that corresponds with it
0:13
Now normally when people add pictures, they do things like this, trying to kind of space
0:17
that picture out to a right spot right around here, but there is a much better way
0:23
So what you can do once you add your photo onto your document is right click on it and
0:27
choose Wrap Text. This is going to give you a lot more options for what you can do with photos on a document
0:34
So if I choose Square, I'll have some additional options for moving this image
0:43
You'll see as I move it down, it will automatically orient the text around this image
0:48
So this is great if you want to have a layout with a photo on one side and the text wrapped
0:53
around it. There's also another option if I go to Wrap Text again, and this time if I choose In Front
0:58
of Text, this will now allow me to take my photo and edit anywhere on the document in
1:06
front of text. The other feature that you want to do under Wrap Text is make sure that the option to
1:13
move with text is on. This way, when you go through and you add additional text, that image will stay directly
1:19
in the same spot. So these are really simple tricks, but if you're laying out a document in Microsoft
1:25
Word, I feel that this is going to save you a lot of aggravation
1:29
So thanks to everyone for watching this video. If you like it, give it a thumbs up
