I TRIPLED My GEOGUESSR Country Streak Record!

All right, welcome to another GeoGuessers episode. Loads of people at the minute are playing the Battle Royale

So I thought, you know what? Let's mix it up. Let's play country streaks. Because the only time I've played previously, I wasn't very good with the global stuff

And our streak is three correct countries in a row, which is pretty terrible. I think we could at least double that today. I've been playing a lot of Battle Royale

I feel a bit better with my global GeoGuessers stuff. So let's just get into it. And it is three to beat

Right. Madame Hanan Olaro Latunde House. We're in Africa somewhere, aren't we? There are lots of countries in Africa

Are we driving on the right or the left? I guess we're driving on the..

It's hard to tell because of how narrow the road is. We won't worry about it too much for now

So in terms of language, what we got, quite a few English-speaking countries in Africa

Now, the issue we got with country streaks over Battle Royale is in Battle Royale, you get three different attempts to get it right

Whereas if you don't get it right first time here, you are knocked out straight away

So that's why it's really difficult. So there's a few places that it could potentially be

We could be in South Africa. We could be in Kenya. We could maybe even be in Uganda. Ghana, Nigeria

I reckon it's probably one of those. I'm pretty sure most of those are English-speaking countries

but I can't remember exactly which ones. Oh, hang on, hang on. What does that say? Does that say Lagos

Are we in a place called Lagos? I feel like I've heard the name of that place before

Oh my god, Lagos. There it is, Lagos. So Nigeria then, which I'd already clicked on

Should we go for it? We're only on streak zero, so I guess it doesn't matter if we get it wrong

Whereas that one, you know, we get it wrong. We just start again. It doesn't matter too much and it looks like we're in a very

Rural area which is a shame immediately. I'm thinking somewhere like Denmark or somewhere else. That's kind of Scandinavian 50

That doesn't really give us many clues We're definitely gonna have to travel a little bit far here because there's bloody nothing about there's no signs. There's no houses

There's no people so this is tricky So i've been watching a few kind of like geo guess I help videos and when there's not many clues

They suggest that you take a look at the satellite poles and have them memorized

But unfortunately, I have not got any of the satellite poles memorized. So that does not help me

We'll get into a house we get to a house at the minute. Honestly, this could be many different countries

I'm really not sure it's not even any really clues there is there? I can't get close to it not convinced that's a house. It could be a farm. Yeah, I think it's a farm

Maybe I should just go with Denmark even though we don't really have much to go on at all

Oh, we got a windmill. We got a windmill and they like their windmills in Denmark to be fair

Shall we just go for it? I can get my streak back to one if we get this wrong, okay

So I think I'm gonna go with Denmark, but my backup guesses if I could make them would be Finland or Sweden

Okay, we were in the right part of Northern Europe. That was a tricky one. We go again. Back to scratch. Back to square one

Oh, we got a fair amount of flags there. I'm thinking we are in United Arab Emirates, to be honest

I think, is that the United Arab Emirates flag? Yes, I think it is. Should we just go for it

Yes, we got it didn't even need to have a look about oh now this just looks like england, but i'm on a streak of one

So i'm not just gonna mess about i'm gonna have a scout around because potentially we might have island on the cards

But this looks like a nice area in the peak district or something in england Oh, we've zoomed right in on this little devil go on son, right hang on what we got lothian.co.uk

Guess nice. We now have a streak of two countries. Let's play the next one. Oh, this one's scaring me a bit

This one is scaring me a bit Let head over there if we can and have a look at this Oh no no no no no Oh my god Look at that It frozen but in so the trouble is as we said we only got one guess and obviously this is slavic looking but

that could be russia that could be ukraine serbia romania maybe i don't know i don't think so so

it's just what do we want to go with i would say it's either russia or ukraine but i'm scared about

guessing because we only have the one let's try and find a flag that's what we can do as soon as

we can't read everything there's got to be a flag in this kind of area oh there is a flag and is that

ukraine's flag it isn't that's got to be the flag of the country we're in i mean it might be like

the city flag or something which obviously isn't ideal let's get a bit closer to it if we can see

if we can get a better look at no that's as close as we can go so red blue and then red with a gold

thing on it what flag is that oh i think we got it we're in mongolia mongolia under russia i forgot

about mongolia but that's the flag isn't it so let's guess streak of three countries we continue

Oh, you . What is this? Mars? Are we on Mars? Oh, this is a nightmare

There are a few of these little areas that have just got old, poor quality cameras

And I think they're in like deep parts of America, Africa, and Australia

And we're going to have to travel far to see if we can hopefully find a sign or something

Apparently, this is from 2020. Why is it such poor quality then? And I'm so sad because it has come just as I'm about to beat my current all-time record

which is such a shame because I'm not sure I'm going to get this. How far do you think we can go? This could be hundreds and hundreds of miles before there's anything

I guess i'll go with australia, but I don't know if i'm quite ready to lock it in just yet

Because like I said, this potentially would be america or maybe even africa

But as we continue, I think i'm gonna go with yeah, should we just go with australia? We're gonna go for it

It's just somewhere deep in Queensland. Potentially, we might have gotten to Julia Creek eventually, but I don't know

I don't think I've ever seen a house like this. It's somewhere in Europe is all I know, to be honest. Let's have a look at registration plate. So EU registration plate, I think

It's not yellow registration plate on the back, so it isn't England after all. Let's get out of this housing estate. What I'm thinking at the minute would be France, but I might be wrong on that one

Driving on the right would be France as well. But of course, we are on a streak of four

We can't just throw that away willy-nilly. So we do want to find at least some french-sounding words

What have we got texaco? Automatt is it germany i'm not really very good with my languages, but it might be how it's new

It kind of seems a little bit german, but then that could also be like switzerland or somewhere

They're in euros I think we might want to find a domain name before we make any assumptions to be honest one

You got a website be so that would be belgium then wouldn't it

I wouldn't have gone with belgium. So i'm glad we found that domain name. Shall we guess? Oh, you've received a new badge

I think we might lose it here. I think I'm going to get this wrong, but I'm going to just try it because I'm a bit stuck

We'll have a quick look and then we'll go with Bolivia if we don't find anything. I'm really not sure though

Okay, that's the same flag as the other one we saw But we can see it better and we can see that definitely is green and that's the Bolivian flag

So I think we're gonna have to go for it. Let's go for it. Guess that is correct streak is now at seven

Okay, can we triple our previous record this next one immediately? Not quite sure prohibit for excuse me peril

We're in a place called mirador. It's very nice again. We're getting some lovely areas, but they're a little bit tricky

I'm not going to lie. I don't know. It seems kind of spanish to me

We might be lucky and we might get a go and give us a little domain name

I think that's a domain name there, but I can't read what it says a little just too poor quality

know we got some flags you don't think that people just thought their flags about but you know what

they do because i've been like taking note when i've been driving about irl and i've actually seen

at least one union jack hang on where's my flag gone it's a development so it disappears this is

what we've got to look at a bit of orange and a bit of white once again it might be a local flag

as opposed to a national flag honestly i think i'll just look for a domain name because this

should be quite an easy one there's a lot of info knocking about i would maybe say poland at the

moment but i'm not sure what's the polish flag look like does it have orange on it no it's got

red on it that potentially could have been the flag but the colors might have just run a bit

okay let's just find an easy clue all right here we go here we go netherlands we are in the

netherlands because of the dot nl netherlands generally always seems to be really flat you

You can see though that flag that we saw, the white and orange one, obviously was something unrelated. It could have just been like a company logo or something

Alright, guess. That is now nine countries in a row. Can we get to double figures? Ooh, this looks like it could be maybe Florida in America

Ontario Avenue. See, I would just guess America, but I feel like, isn't Ontario

Yeah, it's in Canada. It's just really nice weather for Canada. I didn't think Canada had this kind of weather

Just because it says Ontario though, doesn't mean I want to go for it. Because I think at this stage, with a streak of nine, we need to find a flag

Canada and America. They're very proud of their Canada and Americanness. So we will be able to find a flag

Hang on, hang on, hang on, hang on. Some of this is in Asian. Sin Ming Avenue

What's going on here? Are we in Asia all along? We are getting thrown about. We might be in Malaysia

I think they speak English in Malaysia. Or we might be in Singapore as well. We need a domain name

Oh my God, I think we are as well, you know. Look at that flag. That's the Singapore flag. We nearly threw away the double finger country street

Yes, thank Christ. Ten countries in a row. I guess we just keep going now this one is bloody difficult, but you know we faced tougher ones and we still did okay

This is really difficult. Like I don't know I would probably go with rusher, but I would like to see something please like a sign or anything. What do we do here? Literally

I have no clue. It's like that bolivia one where there's just nothing about but there's just even less about

I mean we can see there's nothing about because in the bolivia one we were in confined valleys

Whereas in this we can see for bloody miles and there is not even a house hang on. Oh my god

Oh my god, what to say? It is not Russia. Oh god. I don't know where that is

I have no idea. So the closest thing is 16 kilometers away. I can't click that much. Jesus Christ

We've got a car which I would like to get to we've got a couple of cars. Go on. You are all I've got

I think because of the signs we saw I would guess it was somewhere in South America

But a lot of countries do we just go with Brazil? Doesn't really look like anywhere

I've seen before in Brazil. We have a little house. Look at that who lives in there

Imagine having to like go to Tesco's when you run out of food. How long does that take

You know what we got 10. I'm pleased with 10. I think we're about to get this wrong I'm gonna go Brazil because I don't know where else to go. Guess Peru next to Brazil. Fair enough, fair enough. Wow

What a landscape that was it was pretty amazing. So there's whereabouts in Peru it was. We ended our streak at 10 countries
