Good morning everybody and welcome back to the incredible city of Trabzon. Up in
0:04
the mountains in the Black Sea region of Turkey. Today is a very exciting day. I'm
0:09
heading to Uzun Gul. It's a place up in the mountains about an hour and a half
0:12
away from Trabzon city. So excited. The pictures I've seen from this place are
0:17
just amazing. Alright everybody I've made it to beautiful Puzungl. I'm shocked how incredibly beautiful
0:44
this is. You can see it behind me. It's just mad. I didn't even know this existed a few
0:52
months ago until I started doing research on eastern Turkey and the Black Sea region
2:49
I hope you can hear what I can hear. It's so peaceful
3:01
You can just hear birds chirping. And the sound of the lake and the river
3:19
Okay everybody I just made it to the cafe at the top it called it called Manaviga cafe and I have the whole thing to myself with this view
3:40
and a very happy rooster. I'm gonna get the a tea, some water and I think I'm gonna try if they have it
3:54
the it's very traditional to charge on I think the big cheese dish
3:59
with this as a backdrop so let's go see what they have
4:21
That is just incredible How many times am I going to cry here
4:31
This is really really really beautiful Now you can hear the call to prayer
4:53
I don't know if you can hear that, but the call to prayer is just ricocheting off of all of the mountains
5:09
Wow. Mechlamet I think I'm probably pronouncing that really badly but it's
5:43
the very traditional kind of cheese dip in the bowl with loads of bread and
5:47
obviously some tea to enjoy this incredibly beautiful view. The clouds are
5:55
just rolling over the mountains and the call to prayer just finished. Can you hear
6:02
that it's called peace and quiet and I love it apart from that chicken or rooster is very loud
6:26
Wow Are you guys seeing what I'm seeing
6:44
That cheese is so good The bread is so crunchy and the cheese is so good salty fresh
6:58
It tastes amazing. Thank you
7:44
What an absolutely beautiful place to live. I don't know if it's picking up, but you can just hit the river
8:02
And there are some locals picking some crops and some hay, I think
8:07
maybe for the animals for winter. It's amazing coming from such a huge busy city like Istanbul to somewhere like this
8:21
Such a huge stark change where people in cities want more, they want more technology, they just want more and are rarely satisfied
8:29
But people here, it sounds so cliche but they're just living a very simple basic life
8:34
But such a beautiful one. One that I think I crave. This sense of peace is very... it's just amazing
9:14
The light here is really really perfect now the sun is going down and the clouds are coming in
9:41
birds are chirping but I really wish I could stay overnight I definitely will be coming back to stay
9:49
overnight to get sunrise and sunset the sunset would be incredible but because of the lack of
9:55
tourists the last bus back to Trapsom City where I'm staying is in just over an hour so I'm going
10:01
to head back down the mountain and check out the lake at the bottom and I'll show you um
10:06
but I hope you feel peaceful watching this as well because it really incredible
10:39
okay I'm just walking down the mountain now I think I'm going the right way
10:48
but there's a set of swings I've seen a lot of pictures where you can go on to the swing
10:53
but I think because of lack of tourists there's no one here they're just chained up
11:01
but that's a good reference point if you are coming here during summer maybe next year when
11:09
there's no virus and the swings should hopefully be open so you would get an
11:13
incredible picture of that. Wow! Look at that light coming down there's a huge stream of it just here. Wow
13:09
So once I got down to the bottom of the mountain, it was time to head back to Travzon City
13:21
I'm really sorry I didn't record an outro to this video. I was very emotionally overwhelmed with what I just witnessed
13:29
This place is extraordinary. And I really, really hope you enjoyed this peaceful video
13:35
See you again soon. Stay happy and stay safe
