Ashley Moody: Florida's Attorney General with a Touch of Tenacity
Ashley Moody: Florida's Attorney General with a Touch of Tenacity Ashley Moody, Florida’s 38th Attorney General, is no stranger to the courtroom. Born on March 28, 1975, she didn’t just wake up one day and decide, “Hey, I think I’ll fight for justice!” Nope, it’s been a long road paved with hard work, a solid education, and maybe a few coffee-fueled all-nighters. From Law Student to Legal Eagle Moody earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Florida (Go Gators!), then went on to get her Juris Doctor from the same university. If that wasn’t enough, she decided to top it off with a Master of Laws in international law from Stetson University. Clearly, she’s a fan of both learning and making us all feel lazy in comparison. But let’s not forget: education alone doesn’t make a great attorney. Moody also served as a judge in Hillsborough County, Florida. Imagine standing in front of her in court and realizing, “Oh no, she’s smarter and more prepared than I am.”
