It all started with Joss Whedon. I get why. Because, like, Joss Whedon's whole thing is like

don't get too attached, I'll kill your favorite character. And somehow, even though it was just a bit part on Buffy

he was like, this guy. And it's like, it just kept going, right? Because it's not just that Pedro Pascal dies on screen

His eyes get pressed into his pretty head. That head gets cut off. He gets pummeled to a pulp with just horrific prosthetics

That'll probably win an Emmy. Props to them. And then sometimes he's literally thrown into a meat grinder

It's just enough. Like, let me just have some, like, time where he gets to smile

and give us those daddy vibes that we love and that warm charisma, and we don't kill him

Disney, I'm looking at you. Because you got The Mandalorian, you got Fantastic Four First Steps

you got him coming with Avengers stuff and more Grogu stories, Star Wars stuff. There are plenty of opportunities

to have Pedro Pascal die nobly for a greater cause. I just need you to not do it
