Craziest Fake Punts in College Football

And how about that call by Dan Hawkins? After moving back 10 yards more

It's a fake. Not a fake punt. That is taken by Abdoor Rahman, and he is free

Nobody knew he had the ball, but now he has the end zone

Jamal Abdurrahman from 47 yards and a fake punt touchdown to get things started in 2013 for Villanova

And the coaches told us about this play potentially coming sometime early in the game

They talked about snapping to the front man. If you see the first guy gets the snap, puts it on the ground

and now he's going to slip off to the left side and then skate his way down to the field

No one within five yards of him on this run. Maybe could have thought about attempting a 56-yarder with a big leg

And the throw to the sideline is caught! Touchdown, Missouri, Marcus Johnson

And Missouri delivers a counterpunch on the fake punt. 39-yard strike from Bauer to Johnson

Didn't see that coming, did you? No. And I tell you what

Bunder lets this one go really early. It's such a good play by Johnson on the outside

in tight coverage to locate that ball. It didn't turn his head until it was already in the air

And obviously, defender not expecting that. Andrew Phillips on the outside. This is well brought some pressure there

Got Brandon Peters. Blake Hayes, how about this? With the fade, he's going to keep it

He's got a first down. as Nebraska ran back in coverage. He almost hesitated about two, three times

Run the football. What are you doing? Watch this. And he is one hack of a punter

The Big Ten punter. He wasn't quite sure if he was running

Wait a second. Where can I survive? How soon can I get down on the ground and still have this be a successful play

You can almost read his thoughts right there. The highest rated. Robinson back deep, and it's a fake

There was a lot of talk about the fact Ohio State had a fake punt called

It would have been wide open and they actually didn't execute it because it snapped back to the punter

That looked a little like what Ohio State was trying to do a week ago on that fourth down just across the 50

And here it's Payne Durham. Looks like he just got that ball

What is he doing? I don't know what he's doing. Not good. And he fumbled at the ball

Picked up. And Lafayette's going to have it in prime position. That is Nick Franzese, one of their wide receivers

In a heads-up play. And with 44 seconds to go, they're inside of the red zone

we don't have the balance between the run pass game as we we want oh

i don't know what happened here i think he was gonna fake it this is a kicker's nightmare right now
