Homemade Lava Lamps: Chemistry in action!

Did you have a lava lamp growing up? As it turns out, it is easy and inexpensive to create your own lava lamp while learning a thing or two about chemistry. Creating your own lava lamp is a great way to showcase the reaction between vinegar and baking soda to your child in a colorful way.
