This fun homemThis fun homemade calculator will encourage your toddler to learn simple addition while creating a shoot for all the items you'll be adding together! Introducing simple addition concepts to a preschooler builds a bridge between a number and a quantity by using numbers they have learned and assigning them to quantities in everyday life. It also teaches the concept of combining two numbers to create one large number. For this math experiment, we are starting with small numbers so it doesn't get overwhelming for them. We will be using the numbers 1 through 5 for each shoot, so 10 objects in total to add together.
