Power BI - Publish a report to the web from power BI

In this segment of the video, I'm going to show you how to publish a report to the web in PowerBi Service

Now in order to publish a report, you simply have to select the report that you wish to public

then click on the file tab and under the file tab you will see an option which says publish

to web. The moment you click on publish to web, it will create a dialog box or it will display a dialogue box

which will show you two links which will help you to publish. this report across web or across email as well. Now the moment you would like to or the moment

you create this link, Power BI service will automatically create a notification which tells you

that you are about to share your data with everyone over the internet. Make sure that you're okay with it

Now let me show you the dialog box which you will see when you click on Pubb the moment

you click on Publish to web you will see this embedded code with this dialog box Now out here you are seeing this two links now the first link can be used to share it across web page or you can share

use this link to share it across email as well the second one is the html code where you can

define the size of the HTML code by the predefined size if you click on this drop down menu you

can use this drop down menu to select the size or you can also manually or customize or customize

your visuals using this wit and hide feature and changing it according to your own

need now let's go ahead and see how to publish this report to the web in our

practical approach hello friends and welcome in this segment of the video we are

going to see how to publish a report to the web in power BI services now we

already know that we can share this report with our colleagues within our

organization but let's take for an example I want to share this report for a

person who is sitting at the other end of the country so how will I do that it very simple we will create an embedded link in such a way that if he access that link he will be able to see all this report without having access to the power BI services all

right so let me show you how it is done I will simply go under this file

drop-down menu which you can see under this report section so I will simply

click on here and the very third option which I see which says published to

web the moment I click on this another window will pop up right in front of you which will help you procreate an embedded code which you can

share it via email or you can also create a code or an HTML link which will help

you to paste this on your blog or any website all right now there's also an option

where you can select the size of the report that you want to share with so this is

the standard size that is 800 into 600 pixel so this is the standard side

where your report will look good in of the module all right so you can select the size the way you wanted by standard we will go on with the standard size the moving on with the next one is the molto link and I would like to show you how this link works and how this link is

been seen by other people so I will simply copy this link and right click on

it and say go to this particular website the moment I click on go to this

website it will open a new page and it will show me all those reports which

we were seeing in our power BI services now let me see let's see okay so now you can see I can see all those

reports which I wanted to share it with my colleague or any person who is

sitting at the other end so for that reason you he does not need to have any

kind of access to the power be I services he simply has to create or simply

has to go to this link and click on this link and you will get this report right

away on his screen as well okay guys so this is how you can share your or you
