This DIY depicts the removal process of the Master Window Switch Trim on a Mercedes W210, and a few other center console trim pieces. This must be done prior to removing the Shifter Assembly, and is the first step in removing many of the other interior dashboard trim pieces, which for the most part most be removed in sequence.
