In this quick video I take a look at a 95 BMW 318i power window that has stopped working.

This drivers side window was completely unattached to the regulator and was simply floating in the door. My brother was raising and lowering the window manually prior to this repair.
With power windows there are quite a few things that can potentially go wrong, the window regulator glides are simply one simple repair that one can perform. 
Don't forget to spray the glide rails down with silicone lubricant, and ensure that the regulator joints are fully inserted into the plastic glides.
