The Super Mario Bros. Movie sequel is coming in 2026

Nintendo and Illumination Entertainment are set to release a sequel to the Super Mario Bros. Movie on April 3rd, 2026. Storyboarding is under Illumination Studios Paris, with animation set to begin soon. The sequel will expand on the vibrant world of the first movie, and will include a live-action Legend of Zelda film.
