Video tutorial on how to erect a large timber garden shed, storage building or timber workshop complete with insulated floor and rubber roof. Plastic and metal sheds will have a different construction technique and these instructions do not apply to lean to sheds, only outdoor sheds. Your tool shed may be a cheap shed or a shed kit but the instructions will remain the same. The garden shed is placed on a very firm shed base which is insulated by way of a polystyrene insulation slab. This keeps the floor warm. Erecting a timber shed instructions can vary from shed to shed but the basics are all the same. You must start with a very square (or rectangular) base and all corners must be at right angles to each other. Failure to set out properly on the floor will lead to all sorts of problems on the roof.
