What gear do I need for my flight bag for my EASA PPL?
Headset
I started off with a budget David Clark headset for my PPL and that was completely fine.

If you really want a Bose A20, then go ahead, but if you already have one of the noise-cancelling Bose headphone (QC15, QC25 etc) for personal use, check out this mic to turn what you have into a noise-cancelling aviation headset: https://amzn.to/36KfSi1

Depending on where you will be flying to, you will need a map and airfield charts for the places you will be visiting.

One of the most important items is a Logbook to log all your hours.

Hi vis jacket:
You will need one when on the airfield or visiting other airfields: https://amzn.to/3dfscJE
See what your instructor says about a checklist too. You may need to purchase one if your flying school don't have their own approved checklist. They can easily be found online at most flight stores. Feel free to grab a scientific calculator if you wish!
