Technical review about the INKAS Hornet by Army Recognition editorial team. The Hornet is a 4x4 Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) vehicle designed and manufactured by the company Inkas Vehicles LLC based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The vehicle was unveiled in May 2020 by an Army Recognition webinar (a presentation transmitted over the web/Internet using video conferencing software). The vehicle is based on the Toyota Land Cruiser-79 chassis, a choice made because of the worldwide “off-the-shelf” availability of spare parts, as well as the cost-effective maintenance and operating costs for the military and security forces.
