Carrot milkshake recipe - Healthy no sugar added carrot milkshake recipe - Milkshake without ice cream - Gajar milkshake - Kids friendly recipes-
As summer is in peak now, and kids at home need something chilled to drink. Though they drink store-bought juices and ice creams, in between I try to include some homemade healthy juice | milkshake. I replaced dates instead of sugar and the kids loved it a lot. I have given variations for this recipe in the 'Notes' section.
Preparation time: 10 mins Cooking time: Nil Serves:1
Ingredients
½ cup grated carrot
3 tbsp hot water
5 dates
1 cup Chilled Milk
Few pistachios to garnish
Notes:
1. You can add 1-2 tsp of cocoa powder or drinking chocolate to this while blending.
2. Few almonds can be soaked in hot water and added to the carrot milkshake.
3. A scoop of Vanilla ice cream can be added while grinding, to get a creamier Carrot Milkshake.
