2023 Summer P-EBT in Rhode Island (Payment Update)

Great news - Rhode Island was approved to issue Summer P-EBT benefits for 2023! This means that households with eligible school-age children will receive $120 in P-EBT benefits per eligible child. Children who receive free or reduced-price meals under the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) or attend a CEP school are eligible to receive P-EBT benefits for Summer 2023. Rhode Island will be issuing Summer P-EBT benefits as a one-time payment of $120. 2023 Summer P-EBT benefits in Rhode Island will begin going out on August 1st and will continue through the month until complete.
