2023 Summer P-EBT in Hawaii (Payment Update)

Great news - Hawaii was approved to issue Summer P-EBT benefits for 2023! This means that households with eligible school-age children will receive $120 in P-EBT benefits per eligible child. Children who receive free or reduced-price meals under the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) or attend a CEP school are eligible to receive P-EBT benefits for Summer 2023. Hawaii will be issuing Summer P-EBT benefits as a one-time payment of $139. 2023 Summer P-EBT benefits in Hawaii will be issued on June 28th. Newly eligible children will receive their Hawaii Summer P-EBT benefits for 2023 on September 12th. Hawaii is required to issue ALL Summer P-EBT payments for 2023 by September 30, 2023.
