Description: Paan ice cream, without ice cream maker, a delicious Indian ice cream made using paan leaves.
Paan leaves 5
Fennel seeds | sombu 1 tsp
Gulkand 1 tblsp
Dates 3 (optional)
Fresh cream 1 cup
Condensed milk 1/3 cup
Tutti fruiti 2 tsp (optional)
Method:
Wash and take out the stem of the paan leaves and cut them roughly.
Put this in a mixie.
Add fennel seeds, gulkand, deseeded dates to this and grind into a fine paste.
No need to add water as the wetness of the gulkand will be enough.
In a wide bowl add the cream and whip it for a minute. I used the electric beater.
Add the condensed milk to this and the ground paan mixture.
Mix well.
Add the tutti fruiti to this if adding.
Combine well and transfer it to a box. Freeze it for 6-8 hours.
Take out and scoop the paan ice cream.
Serve immediately.
Delicious paan ice cream is ready.
