The sugar should be added gradually to the beaten eggs. 2. Add in the oil. 3. Put the dry stuff in after sifting. 4. The addition of carrots (and possibly almonds or raisins) is recommended if used. 5. Mix the ingredients well. 6. Transfer to a greased baking dish. 7. Put the dish in an oven set to 180 degrees Celsius (360 degrees Fahrenheit) and bake for 40 minutes. 8. The cake must be allowed to cool before the frosting is added.
