This doesn't count the chemicals, toxins, pollutants etc. When you shower your pores enlarge (because of the heat) and your body can absorb up to 8 ounces of water each time you shower, or more! You are also breathing in the steam from the shower as well. This is why I use a shower filter to remove these pollutants, toxins and chemicals from the water.
