What are all the words of this life; what does this mean? In my last Bible Study, I investigated what, how, and why we should guard our hearts? But today, I will show from the Scriptures, what it means by “all the words of this life” and how this is relevant to you! I'm Leroy A. Daley of "Blogging About The WORD". My website is www.atotheword.com. For example, the apostles preach that Christ is resurrected and the High Priest of the Sadducees and the men who were with him were angry. Mainly, because the Apostles preached that Jesus rose from the dead. Not only were they “angry” but furious to the point that they arrested and imprisoned the apostles for preaching that Jesus is alive! Listen as Luke, the Beloved Physician, explains: “Then the high priest rose up, and all they that were with him, (which is the sect of the Sadducees,) and were filled with indignation,” (Acts 5:17). “And laid their hands on the apostles, and put them in the common prison.” (Acts 5:18). I want you to be aware that even though it may not appear that you achieving anything right now, press on! God sees your efforts! You are not alone! Don’t be sad because He has dispatched angels to protect you! “But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth, and said,” (Acts 5:19). “Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.” (Acts 5:20). “And when they heard that, they entered into the temple early in the morning, and taught. But the high priest came, and they that were with him, and called the council together, and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought.” (Acts 5:21). “But when the officers came, and found them not in the prison, they returned and told, (Acts 5:22). “Saying, The prison truly found we shut with all safety, and the keepers standing without before the doors: but when we had opened, we found no man within. (Acts 5:23). “Now when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these things, they doubted of them whereunto this would grow. (Acts 5:24). “Then came one and told them, saying, Behold, the men whom ye put in prison are standing in the temple, and teaching the people. (Acts 5:25). “Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned. (Acts 5:26). “And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them, (Acts 5:27). “Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name[,] and behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us[?] (Acts 5:28). “Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men” (Acts 5:29). “The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree” (Acts 5:30). “Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins” (Acts 5:31). The final verse, “And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him” (Acts 5:32). These scriptures constitute the backstory of the command that the Lord gave to His Apostles: “Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life” (Acts 5:20). I teach Christians how to better understand the Bible using Bible Studies. I utilize the Holy Bible as my sole authority for all my Bible studies. “For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little” (Isaiah 28:10).
