Coffee banana smoothie using Levista Instant coffee powder. Banana 1 Levista Instant coffee powder 1 - 1.25 tsp Chia seeds 1/2 tsp (optional) Chilled milk 1 cup Sugar 1 tblsp Method : Freeze the banana over night. Why are we using frozen banana for smoothie? This gives a thick creamy texture to the smoothie. You can use even low fat milk to make the smoothie, still it comes out thick. How to freeze the banana? Take out the skin and slice them. Put in a zip lock cover and freeze it over night. Generally frozen bananas stays good for a month. But i kept only for 2 days. You can use normal banana too. In a blender, add the frozen bananas, Levista instant coffee, sugar, chia seeds(if adding) and half of the milk. Always use chilled milk. If using boiled milk, allow it to cool completely and chill the milk nicely. Blend this into a smooth mixture. Add the remaining milk and mix well. Serve immediately. Always serve any smoothies immediately, else the color and taste will change. Notes: Frozen banana gives creaminess and thickness to the coffee banana smoothie. You can add 1 tsp of cocoa powder to this smoothie, to get a Mocha taste.
